The event will take place on May 7 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

TriCounty American Promise, representing Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties, will host an event on May 7 at the Mt. Laurel Library, 100 Walt Whitman Ave, to explore the power of money in politics.

According TriCounty American Promise the group is part of the “national cross-partisan grassroots group fighting to change that via constitutional amendment.”

The group welcomes local support and is inviting locals to come out to learn about “the scope an power of big money donors to influence elections and laws enacted.”
