Police are praising a donation of four giant mountain bikes to replace the department’s outdated patrol bicycles.
The Evesham Township Police Department is offering thanks to the members of the Evesham Township Police Foundation for what police describe as a generous donation of four giant mountain bikes to replace the department’s outdated patrol bicycles.
According to police, the Evesham Township Police Foundation partnered with Aistriu, located 931 S. Route 73, in the bicycle donation.
Police say the donated bicycles will be utilized to assist officers in performing routine patrol duties and increase community policing efforts in solving problems to enhance the quality of life in the community.
The Evesham Township Police Foundation was established in 2015 as an independent non-profit organization designed as a non-traditional vehicle for providing material and financial aid to the police department.
