Seneca High School student takes talents to New Jersey Teen Arts Festival

Seneca High School senior Kathryn Chromeck and art teacher Bob Dooley with Chromeck’s piece called “My Comfortable Chaotic Cupboard”

Kathryn Chromeck, a senior at Seneca High School, has taken her talents of drawing to a new level within the New Jersey Teen Arts Festival and will be showcasing her art during the state festival taking place on May 30, 31 and June 1 at Ocean County College.

“Catering to our Community” meal served on May 4

The next “Catering to our Community” meal will be served on Friday, May 4 at 6 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church of Shamong located at 445 Oakshade Road in Shamong.

There will be free food from a local restaurant or caterer, with an experience similar to dining out.

Events take place the first Friday of every month.

Crossroads Community Church spring clean up day

This Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crossroads Community Church is having a spring clean up day where the members of the church will plant flowers to brighten up the landscape for spring.

Anyone looking to volunteer in the community, they are welcome to join. Please bring along gardening tools.
