Jefferson to host sleep disorder and drowsy driving informational program on May 2

During a free program at the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library in Washington Township, Jefferson Health will talk about how sleep disorders can impact safety behind the wheel.

Learn about the impact of sleep on driving safety at a free Jefferson Health wellness program, Proper Sleep Can Keep You Awake, Alert and Alive,” set for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2. The event will take place at the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library, located at 606 Delsea Drive in Sewell.

Led by Kennedy Health Alliance sleep medicine physician Jennifer Roszkowski, the program will focus on the impact of undiagnosed sleep disorders that affect more than 40 million Americans, impacting their daily quality of life and safety behind the wheel.

The program is sponsored by PrimeTime, Jefferson Health’s free health and wellness program for active older adults in South Jersey. However, all community members are invited to attend.
