The Moorestown Department of Public Works Department will be flushing fire hydrants from April 1 through April 30 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., according to an announcement on the township website.
This procedure is necessary to flush the water mains, and some discoloration of water or low water pressure may occur during this time, according to the announcement.
It is advisable to check the water for discoloration prior to washing clothes.
