There is one formal meeting on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
New Jersey’s Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs program has a goal to engage children ages 7 to 15 in outdoor recreational opportunities and natural resource education as alternatives to drug, alcohol and tobacco use.
These sessions are adult-led and provide students with hands on experiences in fly tying and fishing, marsh ecology, crabbing, clamming, kayak fishing, and safe boating practices.
This is a free program, with one formal meeting per month on the third Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Tabernacle all purpose building, located at 85 Hawkins Road. Meetings are about one hour.
Anyone is welcome to stop in, or contact Jeff Brown at (609) 410–1873 or [email protected] to join.
