Evesham Police arrest wanted person during pedestrian stop and also discover heroin

On April 15 an officer determined a male was wanted by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and Camden Metro Police Department.

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On April 15 at 8 p.m., an officer with the Evesham Township Police Department stopped and spoke to a male standing outside a 7–Eleven store on Evesboro Medford Road.

During the interaction, the officer determined that the male was wanted by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and Camden Metro Police Department.

Following the arrest of the male for the outstanding warrants, he was found to be in possession of heroin.

Arrested:

A male, age 36, of Marlton, was charged with third-degree possession of heroin. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail with no bail.
