Evesham Police arrest Camden trio after non-fatal heroin overdose investigation of Marlton resident

Police say the incident began on March 11 when officers responded to a business for a male that was unconscious and not breathing.

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On March 11, the Evesham Police Department responded to a business at 300 S. Route 73 for a male that was unconscious and not breathing inside a men’s restroom.

Upon officer’s arrival, police the male was located and found to be unconscious and unresponsive lying on the restroom floor. Officers recognized that the subject had overdosed and quickly administered Narcan. After Narcan was deployed, the victim regained consciousness and was transported to a local hospital where he made a full recovery.

A narcotics investigation was launched by the Evesham Police Department narcotics unit, which resulted in the arrest of three individuals from Camden City that police say are suspected of allegedly distributing/conspiring to distribute marijuana and heroin in Evesham Township.

Arrested:

A male, age 25, of Camden City, was charged with third-degree possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, fourth-degree conspiracy to distribute heroin and a disorderly person’s offense for hindering apprehension (providing false identifiers to police) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in with no bail.

A male, age 26, of Camden City, was charged with third-degree possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, fourth-degree conspiracy to distribute heroin and a disorderly person’s offense for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.

A female, age 21, of Camden City, was charged with third-degree possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, fourth-degree conspiracy to distribute heroin and a disorderly person’s offense for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on her own recognizance.
