The sale will transform the school’s North Cafeteria into a 20-plus-bed showroom filled with all sizes and styles.
For those in the market for a new bed and who want to support local students can stop by Lenape High School on Saturday, April 14, for a Mattress Fundraiser.
Since 2005, Custom Fundraising Solutions has been helping schools raise money using an unconventional approach — “The Mattress Fundraiser.”
The concept is designed to help groups raise thousands of dollars in a one-day sale and provide the community a product they need for a value.
During the upcoming event at Lenape, shoppers will find adjustable bed frames, luxury pillows, box springs and a vast array of mattresses, including latex and memory foam, along with a team of experts on hand to answer any questions.
Lenape High School will be hosting the Mattress Fundraiser on April 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The sale will transform the school’s North Cafeteria into a 20-plus-bed showroom filled with all sizes and styles. Name brands like Simmons Beautyrest, Restonic, Malouf, etc. are available for up to 50 percent off retail prices.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward supporting Lenape High School’s Project Graduation event in June.
The annual event is safe, drug and alcohol free celebration for seniors to attend on the night of graduation. The event provides students with a safe environment to celebrate their achievements, thereby reducing the risk of getting injured or killed in a car accident due to drinking and driving.
For the past 27 years, volunteers, with support from local businesses, have been able to host this fun-filled event.
According to the Lenape High School PTO, more than 90 percent of Lenape students attend the event.
