Deep Roots Community Garden in Voorhees open to Voorhess and Marlton residents

The community garden is officially accepting requests for open garden plots.

Voorhees and Marlton residents looking to garden this spring are invited to explore the Deep Roots Community Garden in Voorhees.

Although the garden is located behind Cultivate Church at 2303 E. Evesham Road in Voorhees, the garden is open to anyone in the Voorhees and Marlton area who would like to grow organic vegetables and develop friendships with their fellow gardeners.

The garden will provide a 10' x 10' plot, compost, a tool shed with common gardening tools and means of irrigation.

The gardener is responsible for providing seeds/plants, attending to any weeding, and providing general care and maintenance of his/her plot, as well as clearing out the plot at the end of the season.

Membership registration and one-time fee required for access to this garden program. Cost for this program is a $35 fee ($20 for garden plot and $15 deposit to be returned upon end-of-season plot cleanout)
