Moorestown Republicans endorse Delgado, Boren

The Moorestown Republican Municipal Committee announced they are backing Manuel Delgado and Jamie Boren in the upcoming election.

Following Mayor Stacey Jordan’s announcement that she will not be seeking a third term, the Moorestown Republican Municipal Committee (MRMC) has unanimously voted to endorse Manny Delgado and Jamie Boren to be the Republican Party’s candidates for Moorestown Town Council in 2018.

“After conducting a lengthy series of interviews with a number of impressive and immensely qualified candidates, we are thrilled to announce the Delgado/Boren ticket as our choice to represent our ideas and ideals at the ballot box this November,” said MRMC member Judd Van Dervort, who led the Candidate Screening Committee for the 2018 election cycle. “Manny and Jamie are both involved parents who are passionate advocates for Moorestown’s families. They believe strongly in our hometown ideals of fiscal responsibility, community and efficient government and will be excellent stewards for our township.”

“Manny Delgado has been a true asset to Moorestown both in his role on town council and as a leader in our community. His efforts to hold the line on taxes, solve our town’s water issues, advocate for a sustainable, manageable number of units in the affordable housing fight and put Moorestown first have earned him our support for a second term,” said MRMC Chairman Steve Solomon. “Coupled with the lifelong connection to our community and breadth of experience Jamie Boren will deliver to the ticket, I am confident that the people of Moorestown will agree they will be well-represented with these two candidates on the town council.”

The MRMC is comprised of 40 Republican local representatives with a male and a female committee person elected for each election district in Moorestown. Please visit the MRMC’s Facebook page for more information or to get involved at www.facebook.com/MoorestownRepublicans
