Students were treated to a visit from the Cat in the Hat on Feb. 20
The National Education Associationis gearing up for its Read Across America celebration, an annual reading motivation and literacy awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of the famous children’s author Dr. Seuss.
The students at Indian Mills School got a jump start celebrating with a visit from the beloved Cat in the Hat on Feb. 20. The visit was made possible by the generosity of the New Jersey Education Association.
