Locals are invited to attend the Cherokee High School Jazz Festival and the New Jersey Association for Jazz Education state preliminaries.
In the coming weeks Cherokee High School is set to host two different jazz-themed events where locals are invited to come out and enjoy some swinging sounds.
First, on Friday, March 2, locals can stop by Cherokee for the Cherokee High School Jazz Festival from 5 to 10Â p.m.
Those who attend will have the chance to listen to 11 different high school jazz bands as they perform live. Tickets to this event are set a $9 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
The following week, on Wednesday, March 7, locals can head back to Cherokee for the New Jersey Association for Jazz Education state preliminaries.
Once again attendees can listen to 10 high school jazz bands at the school from 5 to 10 p.m. Food and drink will be available for purchase during this event in the school’s South Cafe.
Tickets to this event are also set a $9 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
All are invited to attend these two jazz-themed events and join the fun.
