Leonard Glickman named executive director of Jewish Community Foundation

Glickman took over the role on Jan. 16.

Leonard Glickman was named the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern New Jersey’s executive director, effective Jan. 16. Glickman is a respected executive in both the government and nonprofit sectors. He has nearly 20 years of experience as the chief executive officer of nonprofits and ten years of experience in government, holding key positions for the late U.S. Senator John Heinz and at the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement. Most recently, at FJC — A Foundation of Philanthropic Funds, he helped double the organization’s assets under management.

“I am excited to join JCF and assist people with their philanthropy,” said Glickman. “Philanthropy continues to be an important value and critical practice for Jewish and all Americans.”

“We were impressed with Leonard’s commitment and ideas about connecting people’s generosity and aligning them with our mission,” said JCF President Milt Gottschalk.
