The Islamic Center of South Jersey is hosting a Family Night on Friday, Feb. 23.
The evening begins with a gathering at 6:15 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Saadia Z. Yunus, a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified clinical trauma professional, will present “The Greatest Companion” after Salāt al-’Ishā at 7:30. Yunus has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. She is skilled in the modalities of structural family therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. She has also completed Level 1 Training of the Gottman Method couples therapy. Her passion is to engage with people on a personal level to uplift them into discovering the best version of themselves and living life based on their principles and values.
