Four students additionally earned Scholar of Distinction honors
Ten Seneca High School students were named to the 2017 Keith Waldman Optimal Performance Associates / NFHCA High School National Academic Squad.
The High School National Academic Squad program recognizes high school seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.50 out of 4.0, or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2017–2018 school year.
Over 2,765 student-athletes from 343 high schools have been honored.
Seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0, or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2017–2018 school year, have been recognized as Scholars of Distinction.
A total of 851 student-athletes have received the Scholar of Distinction designation in 2017.
The Seneca student-athlete honorees are Kaitlyn Birnbohm-Kaminski, Julia Collins, Abigail Cosper, Samantha Derkas, Madison Groody, Caitlin Kazokas, Hannah Kent, Kasey Mitchell, Abigail Regn, and Linden Webb.
Birnbohm-Kaminski, Derkas, Regn, and Webb have also earned Scholar of Distinction honors.
