The networking event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 11 at Lutheran Crossings.

On Feb. 11, the Moorestown Democratic Club will host an informational and networking event focused on running for public office.

The event is free and open to the public and is particularly suited for individuals considering running for office, or who are interested in learning more about the process.

The event will be held Feb. 11 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Lutheran Crossings located at: 255 E. Main Street in Moorestown.

Guest speakers will include: Mary Cruz, district director; Congressman Norcross (NJ-1); Lisa Petriello, councilwoman, Moorestown Township; Balvir Singh, freeholder, Burlington County and Jason Springer, president, JRS Strategies. Partnering organizations include Action Together Burlington County, Burlington County Young Democrats and the Burlington County Democratic Committee.

“Civic engagement, particularly at local and regional levels, is more important now than ever,” Petriello said. “Events like this are a great way to get engaged, learn how the candidacy and election process works and meet elected officials and experts from our area to share experiences.”
