The Annual Camp Fair and Discovery Day will take place on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Moorestown Friends School (MFS) will host its 26th Annual Camp Fair and Discovery Day on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school’s Baiada Field House. This is the largest camp fair in South Jersey, featuring more than 50 camps that will come to campus to highlight their programs. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. The Camp Fair is sponsored by the MFS Parent Council.
New programs including “Stars on the Move” mobile planetarium shows and robotics demonstrations will take place free of charge. Refreshments and lunch will be available for purchase.
A wide variety of summer camps will be represented, including day and residential camps for students in preschool through high school. There will be camps offering comprehensive programs in sports, science, technology, ecology, theater, arts, travel, academics, equestrian, roller coasters and more.
The Camp Fair will also feature programs that offer opportunities to travel internationally. For instance, The Experiment in International Livingoffers adventure travel, cultural immersion and community service programs, in locations around the globe.
Moorestown Friends School Summer Programs, which will be represented at the Camp Fair, provide opportunities for children to innovate, create, experiment, and collaborate with others. Summer Programs courses are available to students from age three to 17, and many programs are led by Moorestown Friends School teachers. All programs take full advantage of the beautiful 48-acre Moorestown Friends School campus: classroom, labs, athletic fields, four gymnasiums, and an outdoor pool.
Directions to Moorestown Friends School can be found at www.mfriends.org. Parking for the Camp Fair is in the parking lot behind the school, and the entrance to the Baiada Field House is near the tennis courts.
