Virtua offering free mammograms to underinsured Burlington County residents in February

Participants are asked to register in advance of the Feb. 8 event

Virtua Memorial Hospital will offer free mammograms for uninsured or under-insured Burlington County residents ages 40–60 on Feb. 8. The mobile mammography van will be at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington County on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call (856) 247–7388 to sign up.

To qualify, participants must be uninsured or under-insured and be at 250 percent or below federal poverty guidelines: http://familiesusa.org/product/federal-poverty-guidelines

Please note: Virtua requires a minimum of 20 participants in order to host a screening event. Please register in advance to help Virtua estimate an accurate headcount.

A $20 Walmart or WaWa gift card will be awarded to women that complete their mammograms.
