Attendees will travel to the Bristol Riverside Theatre for the show and a sit down luncheon at Georgine’s Restaurant.
The Mt. Laurel AARP Chapter is accepting reservations now for a bus trip to the Bristol Riverside Theatre on Thursday, March 15, to see the Tony award winning musical “The Producers.”
Mt. Laurel AARP officials describe the show as a “side-splitting tour-de-force” that spoofs grand, old fashioned Broadway musicals while paying tribute to them at the same time.
Mel Brooks wrote the play, music and lyrics.
A sit down luncheon at the top rated Georgine’s Restaurant is included and offers your choice of Prime Rib, Stuffed Tilapia with Crab Imperial, Chicken Parmagiana or Stuffed Chicken Breast with bread stuffing.
The trip is $90 per person is all-inclusive for taxes, gratuities and the driver’s tip. Departure is at 10 a.m. from the Towne Square Shopping Center at Union Mill Road and Morning Glory Road. The arrival home time is 6 p.m.
The theater and restaurant are local and directly over the Burlington-Bristol Bridge to Bristol, Pa.
Mt. Laurel AARP officials describe the trip as an excellent idea for a birthday or anniversary gift. All are welcome to join the group for a day of laughter and a delicious lunch.
