What’s open and closed in Cherry Hill on New Year’s Day

Many offices and places of business will not be open today in observance of the holiday.

The start of the New Year means a day off for many around Cherry Hill. Check out the list of what places will be opened and closed around the township.

Post offices: Post offices are closed today and there will be no mail delivery. Regular mail delivery will resume on Tuesday.

Township offices: The Cherry Hill Township Municipal Building will be closed on Monday for New Year’s Day. Trash and recycling will be picked up on Monday instead of Tuesday.

Cherry Hill Public Library: The library will be closed in observance of hte holiday.

Cherry Hill Public Schools: The final day of winter break for Cherry Hill Public Schools is Monday. Schools will re-open tomorrow, Jan. 2.

Katz JCC: The Katz JCC health and wellness facilities and the Imaginarium will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Babysitting will be available from 9 a.m. until noon. JCC offices and other classes and programming are closed.

Banks: Nearly all area banks, including Bank of America, PNC Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and TD Bank, are closed on Monday for New Year’s Day. Contact your local bank for more information.

Cherry Hill Mall: The mall will be open on a shortened schedule today from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
