The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:
On Dec. 26 at 6:20 p.m., patrols, EMS and paramedics responded to the 3100 block of Route 38 for the report of a drug overdose. Responders located a 37-year-old male from Barnegat unresponsive due to an apparent overdose. Responders administered Narcan and reversed the overdose. The male was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
On Dec. 26 at 12:41 p.m., patrols responded to Lifetime Fitness on Church Road for the report of a theft. The victim reported that on Dec. 23 an unknown suspect stole her cell phone after she left the phone in the ladies bathroom.
On Dec. 24 at 9:57 a.m., patrols responded to the On the Run on Centerton Road for the report of a theft of gas. Employees reported that they pumped $25 worth of gas into a red Honda. The driver left the business without paying for the gas.
On Dec. 23 at 11:45 p.m., patrols were in the area of the 1300 block of Nixon Drive at which time they observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. During the investigation, the 20-year-old male driver from Mt. Holly was determined to be in possession of marijuana. He was subsequently arrested, processed and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.
On Dec. 23 at 10:05 p.m., patrols responded to a one-car crash on Larchmont Boulevard. It was determined that a 27-year-old female driver from Mt. Laurel was under the influence of alcohol. She was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI and other motor vehicle violations. She was released to a family member pending a future court date.
On Dec. 23 at 4:43 a.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38. It was determined that a 31-year-old male driver from Cherry Hill was under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI and other motor vehicle violations. He was released to a family member pending a future court date.
On Dec. 22 at 5:30 p.m., a 56-year-old homeless male was arrested for a burglary and theft that occurred on Dec. 6 at the Wig-A-Do on Route 38. The male was processed and remanded to the Burlington County Jail.
On Dec. 21 at 11:54 p.m., patrols responded to LA Fitness on Dearborne Circle for a report of a theft of a cell phone. The victim reported that he placed his cell phone on a locker room bench. After completing his workout he went back to retrieve the phone and it was gone.
On Dec. 21 at 7:54 p.m., patrols were dispatched to a motel on the 5000 block of Clover Road for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, patrols came in contact with a 32-year-old male from Pennsauken who was observed in the vehicle. During the interaction with the officer, the suspect made multiple distinct movements at which time he was told to exit his vehicle. During the investigation, a smoking pipe used to smoke methamphetamine dropped out of his pants. Police K-9 Gunner also alerted on the vehicle. A subsequent search of the suspect vehicle revealed a quantity of methamphetamine, Viagra and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of prescription legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.
On Dec. 21 at 10:44 a.m., patrols responded to Centerton Square Shopping center for a report of people walking on the roof. Upon arrival, patrols located a 31-year-old male from Franklinville and a 32-year-old male from Woodbury standing by a work van. Both claimed to be there working on the HVAC system. During the investigation, it was determined that both suspects were not contracted to be there for any type of work and that they were in fact there to steal copper. Both were arrested and charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools. Both were remanded to the Burlington County Jail.
After an extensive investigation, a 35-year-old male from Glassboro was arrested and charged with robbery, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and other weapon related offenses related to alleged robbery of a GameStop in town on Nov. 27. The arrest occurred on Dec. 20 at 10:50 a.m. at the suspect’s residence in Glassboro. He was processed and remanded to the Burlington County Jail awaiting a future court hearing. The suspect was also found to be responsible for seven other robberies throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
On Dec. 20 at 10:44 a.m., patrols responded to Centerton Square on Centerton Road for the report of copper theft. Upon arrival, employees reported that sometime from Dec. 8 through Dec. 20, unknown suspects gained access to the roof and stole approximately $1000 worth of copper piping from HVAC units. Investigation ongoing.
On Dec. 19 at 10:38 p.m., patrols responded to a business on the 3700 block of Church Road for the report of a criminal mischief to a vehicle. Upon arrival, an employee reported that her vehicle was vandalized by puncturing her vehicle tire sometime between 2:45 and 9:20 p.m. while she was working.
On Dec. 19 at 9:11 p.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73. During the stop, officers detected an odor of marijuana. Search revealed a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A 22-year-old female driver from Willingboro provided a false name to the officer. She was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering her own apprehension. She was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Moorestown Municipal Court. She was released on a summons pending a future court date.
On Dec. 19 at 3:07 p.m., patrols, EMS and paramedics responded to a residence on Rockcress Way for the report of a drug overdose. Responders located a 36-year-old male resident unresponsive due to an overdose on suspected heroin. Responders administered Narcan and reversed the overdose. He was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
On Dec. 19 at 10:15 a.m., patrols responded to the 600 block of Hartford Road for the report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim reports that sometime between midnight and 6 a.m., an unknown suspect stole her 2016 Ford Fusion from the driveway. The vehicle was later recovered after it was abandoned following a crash in Buena.
