Evergreens hosts 6th Annual Pneumonia Open

On Thursday, Nov. 2, Dick Meehan emerged as champion of the Evergreens’ “6th Annual Pneumonia Open.”

The Evergreens hosted the “6th Annual Pneumonia Open,” a resident golf tournament at the community, on Thursday, Nov. 2. Eight residents participated in this nine-hole tournament on the community’s Putting Green, having earned a spot in the championship open after winning qualifying tournaments throughout the year.

The Annual Pneumonia Open determines the winner of all of the season’s mini tournaments.

Resident Dick Meehan, already a three-time consecutive Pneumonia Open champion, emerged as winner of the Pneumonia Open with a score of 17.

Meehan won a gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods, and his name will once again also be etched onto The Evergreens’ commemorative trophy, which is displayed in the Great Hall in The Evergreens’ main building.
