The district will use information from members of the community to develop a plan to guide the district during the next three years.
On Nov. 30, the Mt. Laurel Township School District is set to host the second event in the district’s “A Path to Success 2030” series of strategic planning meetings.
The district is once again inviting employees, parents, students, community members, business owners and government leaders to take part in the future planning of their elementary schools.
The district will use information from members of the community to develop a plan to guide the district during the next three years.
The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of Mt. Laurel’s Hartford School beginning at 6:30 p.m. and concluding by 8 p.m.
Participants can sign-up to attend in advance by visiting the district’s online registration, and those who attend are encouraged to bring friends and neighbors along to “give back” to their schools by sharing observations, opinions and ideas.
“We are hoping to hear from every segment of the community,” district superintendent George Rafferty said. “People who have no children have as much at stake in the success of their schools as parents, senior citizens, students, religious leaders and business owners do. Excellent schools attract caring neighbors, assure responsible future leaders and instill community pride.”
Those looking to attend the meeting on Nov. 30 are not required to have attended the district’s first meeting in early November.
The theme of the meeting on Nov. 30 is “Setting Expectations for the Future.”
The final meeting in the series will take place on Dec. 7
