Burlington County to hold free shredding event for residents’ confidential documents on Dec. 3

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex in Florence.

Burlington County’s next free shredding event for residents to dispose of their confidential documents will be held on Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex in Florence.

This is the final free confidential document shredding event to be hosted by the county for 2017.

Once again county officials are asking that residents only bring “confidential” documents for shredding to this events.

Suggested documents include bank and credit card statements, tax returns or papers with account numbers or social security numbers.

All documents will be shredded on-site, and officials ask that residents do not bring items such as binders, plastic folders, computer disks or plastic credit cards.

Residents are allowed to bring up to four bags or boxes per car for this event. Residents may also dispose of papers that have already been shredded.
