Heggan Library to host Founders concert Dec. 8

The Founders combine classical and folk music with original compositions and pop arrangements

The Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library will host a concert on Friday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. by the Founders, a unique songwriting collective that combines classical and folk music with original compositions and pop arrangements.

Founders has created a sound that is unique, inspired and completely original. With songs ranging from Appalachian themed originals to Radiohead covers, to art songs using famous poetry, Founders is re-imagining the boundaries of musical styles.

This concert is open to everyone. Advance online or phone registration is required. Please visit the library’s website, www.hegganlibrary.org, or call (856) 589–3334 to register.

This concert is made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Division of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts from a grant to the Gloucester County Cultural and Heritage Commission at Rowan College at Gloucester County.

The Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library is located at 606 Delsea Drive in Washington Township.
