As a result of the investigation, police say they seized 70 bags of heroin.
The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On Nov. 15, members of the Evesham Police Investigative Unit and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office conducted a narcotics investigation into the illegal sale of heroin in Evesham Township.
According to Evesham Police, the investigation led to the arrest of two Browns Mills residents. During a proactive undercover operation, police say the two were arrested in the Heritage Development while allegedly involved in the distribution of heroin.
As a result of the investigation, police say they seized 70 bags of heroin.
Arrested:
A male, age 35, of Browns Mills, was charged with second-degree distribution of heroin, third-degree possession of heroin and fourth-degree loitering to commit a narcotics offense. He was released on his own recognizance.
A female, age 29, of Browns Mills, was charged with fourth-degree loitering to commit a narcotics offense. She was released on her own recognizance.
