The Quakers will take on Warren Hills, on Saturday, after defeating Clearview, 5–1, yesterday in the Group III state semifinals.
Moorestown High School field hockey will play for a state championship on Saturday. The Quakers defeated Clearview Regional High School, 5–1, on Wednesday to advance to the NJSIAA Group III state championship game.
The Quakers jumped on Clearview early with four goals in the first half. Delaney Lawler led Moorestown with two goals. Colleen Craven and Kayla Frank each tallied one goal and one assist in the game. Jill Verrelle scored Clearview’s only goal of the game.
Moorestown will battle last year’s Group III finalist, Warren Hills High School, for the title on Saturday. The game will be played at 10 a.m. at Bordentown Regional High School.
