Honor, remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have battled cancer and/or gone through dialysis treatment
Area residents have the opportunity to honor, remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have battled cancer and/or gone through dialysis treatment by symbolically illuminating a light and placing an ornament on Jefferson Health New Jersey’s Cancer Center “Tree of Lights” on Thursday, Nov. 16.
The Tree of Lights Remembrance Celebration — set for 5 p.m. at the Cancer Center, located at 900 Medical Center Drive, Sewell — includes music, light refreshments and a tree lighting ceremony, where honorees’ names are recited aloud.
A $5 donation to benefit the Patient Assistance Funds of either the Cancer Center or its Dialysis Center provides community members the opportunity to hang an ornament on the “Tree of Lights” during the name-reciting portion of the program.
