Evesham residents made their voices heard in votes for their local boards of education.
Evesham residents went to the polls this week to vote in a contested race for members of their local board of education, in addition to voting in the races governor and other state offices.
For the three seats for three-year terms on the Evesham Township School District Board of Education, unofficial results from the Burlington County Board of Elections showed incumbent Elaine Barbagiovanni win her seat for another term with 6,554 votes, along with newcomers Lea Ryan winning a seat with 6,184 votes and Janis Knoll winning a seat with 5,162Â votes.
Other vote totals included Jayesh Parikh receiving 2,636 votes, Bennie Roberson receiving 2,404 votes and 431 votes for a personal choice.
In the race for one seat on the Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education, incumbent Evesham representative Barry Fitzgerald ran unopposed and won with 7,901 votes, against 87 votes for a personal choice.
