Letter to the Editor: Coleen Vernick

Vernick says Rabenou and Nicolo-Dorfner will help the Board of Education make the difficult decisions ahead.

There are big issues facing Moorestown’s Board of Education. Each year, the nine member board needs to make difficult decisions to ensure that Moorestown’s school district delivers the highest quality education possible without allowing our taxes to skyrocket. This year, two members of the current BOE have decided not to seek re-election, and who we choose to fill those seats will impact the district for years to come. For that reason, I am proud to say that I am supporting Kameron Rabenou and Tinamarie Nicolo-Dorfner.

Both Kameron and Tinamarie have extensive experience that will benefit the board. Kameron is the President and CEO of a top New Jersey trade school with a deep understanding of budgeting, accounting and educational operations. Tinamarie, who holds a master’s degree in special education, serves as an administrator for one of the region’s top health care providers, managing operations and overseeing staff members on a daily basis.

A vote for Rabenou and Nicolo-Dorfner is a vote for two champions of the arts as well. Tinamarie is a professional musician bringing music into the everyday lives of those around her, while Kameron is an active supporter of arts groups in our region. Once elected, they will both be a strong voice for keeping the arts as a cornerstone of a Moorestown education.

Combined with the existing experience already on the Board of Education, I believe that Tinamarie and Kameron will deliver for the residents of Moorestown and work hard to put our children and the taxpayers first. Please join me in voting for Kameron Rabenou and Tinamarie Nicolo-Dorfner for Moorestown Board of Education on Nov. 7.
