Multicultural “Book Tasting” event has students learning about Egypt
Students in Victoria Dott’s fifth-grade class at Whitman Elementary School recently were treated to a special visitor to excite them about reading diverse, multicultural books.
Susan Scott is an English Language Arts teacher in Egypt who did a mini-book tasting with the students on Thursday, Oct. 4. Students heard more about education in Egypt, and Scott shared some of her students’ favorite books with the class.
