Leas Forum Explores the Life and Work of Female Activist

History of Mary Vaux Wolcott Explained at Medford Leas

Guests are invited to attend a lecture that will dive into the fascinating life of Mary Vaux Wolcott on Oct. 28 at 11 a.m at the Medford Campus Theater at Medford Leas. Marjorie G. Jones, author of The Life of Mary Vaux Wolcott, will share the inspiring story of the Philadelphia Quaker female artist. Attendees will learn about the extraordinary experiences of Mary Vaux Wolcott and how history, religion, politics, women’s studies, science, and art influenced her daily life.

This event is free and does not require registration. The Leas Forum Committee is made up of members of the Medford Leas Residents’ Association (MLRA). This committee works collaboratively to organize and schedule sessions to include in the Pathways Program.
