Hurffville Elementary first graders give back to Puerto Rico
Hurricanes Irma and Maria were devastating to Puerto Rico. While much of the U.S. territory is still living without electricity, food and water, and access to the island is limited, many citizens are in desperate need of help. Hurffville Elementary School’s first-grade class has chosen United For Puerto Rico as its relief effort through October to raise funds for the victims affected by these natural disasters.
Retiring on the right note
After approximately 39 years in the educational field, instilling the passion for music and the arts in the students and teachers he encountered, Robert Frampton will retire to the tune of “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band on Oct. 28 in the Washington Township High School Investors Bank Performing Arts Center.
Williamstown man arrested for up-skirt photos at Turnersville Walmart
Following an investigation involving up-skirt photographs of a female shopper at the Turnersville Walmart on Sept. 26, Washington Township police have arrested a 26-year-old Williamstown male on Wednesday, Oct. 4. The suspect was charged with invasion of privacy and harassment and was released pending a future court date.
