Join the library on Thursday, Nov. 2 for this informative marketing workshop geared towards adults and business representatives!
No business — particularly a small one — can be all things to all people. Target marketing means finding the natural, ideal market for your product or service.
At this facilitated workshop on Nov. 2 at 9:30 a.m., work alongside your peers to build a picture of your target market. Here is a detailed description of the schedule for that day.
- BEFORE THE WORKSHOP: Please review the video content at the links below prior to attending. That gives us more time for learning through activities at the workshop. This is not a passive listening class!
- AT THE WORKSHOP: We will focus on demonstrations and activities. You will brainstorm, select a potential target market to explore, and use online tools to research the prospective market. Then share and discuss your findings with the group.
- AFTER THE WORKSHOP: Take away a summary of your findings and a list of next steps to help you form an action plan.
Note: We will be using BCLS-licensed business tools. Bring your own laptop or device, use one of our Chromebooks, or work with a facilitator who will have a laptop. You might also wish to bring your library card (not required) and a USB drive (also not required).
