On Sept. 27, police say an officer was patrolling when he observed a suspicious vehicle in the unit block of Baron Avenue.
The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On Sept. 27, at 12:48 p.m., Evesham Police say an officer was patrolling a residential neighborhood when police say he allegedly observed a suspicious vehicle in the unit block of Baron Avenue.
During the investigation, police say the officer found that the male was allegedly providing inconsistent accounts of why he was in the area.
According to police, a K-9 was summoned to the scene and walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he allegedly alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car.
Police subsequent search of the vehicle by officers allegedly resulted in the discovery of heroin and cocaine.
Arrested:
A male, age 31, of Clementon, was charged with third-degree possession of heroin and third-degree possession of cocaine. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of bail.
