If any disks have sensitive financial or personal materials, residents can just break them before dropping them off.
For those who are periodically clearing out old CDs/DVDs or putting all their media in the cloud, the Mt. Laurel Township Green Team offers a chance to bring those old CDs and DVDS to the Mt. Laurel Library to be recycled, instead of simply thrown away.
Locals can simply drop the disks in recycling buckets at the library for future recycling.
If any disks have sensitive financial or personal materials, residents can just break them before dropping them off.
Locals are also asked to remove any disks from their cases and put the cases in a separate marked bin at the library also marked for recycling.
According to the Mt. Laurel Township Green Team, the group has been running this program for several years and it has proved popular with residents.
Locals are advised to not leave electronics in this area as the group does not accept electronics.
