Virtua Medical Group opens as anchor tenant at The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square

Virtua Medical Group occupies 32,568 square feet of the center, which is undergoing a $70 million redevelopment.

Virtua Medical Group, the anchor tenant at The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square, has officially opened.

Virtua Medical Group occupies 32,568 square feet of the center, which is undergoing a $70 million redevelopment.

Virtua Medical Group is a network of 502 physicians, surgeons, and clinicians exclusively affiliated with Virtua, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit health systems.

More than 90 Virtua Medical Group Practices are located throughout the region and range from primary care to complex medical and surgical facilities.

Virtua’s services at The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square include medical and surgical practices that provide primary care, pulmonary care, The Virtua Surgical Group, as well as physical therapy and laboratory services.

“This beautiful new location will enable Virtua Medical Group to enhance the community’s access to high-quality health care close to home,” said Rebecca D. Lynch, senior vice president and chief operating officer for Virtua Medical Group. “Patients will be able to see a range of board-certified primary-care physicians and specialists — including pulmonologists and surgeons — at this state-of-the-art center.”

When completed, The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square will be a mixed-use center encompassing 583,858 square feet of residential luxury apartments with 338 units, retail, restaurants, medical, office and commercial space. The portion of the property that faces Route 70 will be converted into an open space and park offering new jogging paths, walkways, and a pond.

In addition to Virtua Medical Group and an existing TD Bank, tenants coming to The Shoppes include Gaetano’s Pizzeria & Cheesesteaks, Pink Petal Mani Pedi, Dunkin’ Donuts, Hair Cuttery, La Scala Italian Restaurant, and La Vez Mexican Restaurant.

More importantly, Virtua will offer the top-notch services and care South Jersey residents have been waiting for, and we’re proud to have their business in our center.”

RD Management owns 20 properties in New Jersey and has more than 150 properties in its national portfolio.
