‘Journalism in Film’ series to kick off this week at Mt. Laurel Library with ‘His Girl Friday’

The free series begins on Sept. 21 at 12:30 p.m. and will continue for the next several weeks.

The Mt. Laurel Library will kick off a “Journalism in Film” free movie screening series on Sept. 21 at 12:30 p.m. with “His Girl Friday.”

Joe Truitt will be hosting this series of films focusing on American journalism.

In “His Girl Friday,” a newspaper editor uses “every trick in the book” to keep his ace reporter/ex-wife from remarrying.

The film stars Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell from 1940 with a runtime of 92 minutes.

No registration is required for this event.

The screenings will take place in Meeting Room No. 1 and No. 2 combined at the Mt. Laurel Library and will last for several weeks.
