The Medford Township Neighborhood Services Advisory Committee and Medford Municipal Alliance are pleased to announce an information session about how to help friends and loved ones who suffer from addiction. Focused on families, parents and loved ones, this session provides a supportive place to discuss and learn about addictions, and the drug use impacting families our communities.
The event, which is free, will take place at the Medford Municipal Building on 91 Union Street. Registration is not required.
This interactive course provides information and strategies for helping someone with an addiction issue. Intended for family members and those with someone with an addiction issue, this course provides information on the impact of addiction on the individual and the three areas of life it impacts. Learn what immediate and longer-term steps can be taken to assist you in becoming more effective and successful in helping someone you care about. Learn about the self-help addictions community, the treatment process, and gain resources to assist you in regaining balance in your life while supporting someone else’s recovery.
