Burn will also host free boot camps for kids and families. The event will take place at Laurel Acres Park starting at 9 a.m.
In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer, Burn Boot Camp Mt. Laurel will host its second annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Laurel Acres Park.
At the same time, Burn also host free boot camps for kids and families. Burn is a fitness facility that caters to like-mind women geared towards self-improvement through fitness and health.
The boot camps and lemonade stand will benefit childhood cancer research through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in honor of September as Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
Additionally, from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, Burn members will join efforts with The Running Company and participate in the Alex’s Million Miles Challenge, where participants will track running, biking and walking miles and workout reps to raise additional funds.
Burn hopes to exceed $1,000 raised by the event on Sept. 24, which funds more than two days of childhood cancer research.
