Buntzie Ellis Churchill will now lead a discussion on the economic, political, cultural and social impact of newcomers on Europe.
Temple Beth Sholom Hazak will host an opening bagel buffet featuring Buntzie Ellis Churchill on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 12 noon. The meeting will be held at Temple Beth Sholom, 1901 Kresson Road in Cherry Hill.
Churchill will host a presentation entitled “Has Europe Committed Suicide?” She will discuss the economic, political, cultural and social impact of the newcomers on Europe. Churchill served for 23 years as president of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia. She co-authored two books with Princeton professor Bernard Lewis; “Islam: the Religion and the People” and “Notes on a Century: Recollections of a Middle East Historian.”
