Girl Talk Marlton mentoring group invites community to help make sandwiches for needy schools

Volunteers can donate their time, supplies or both at several upcoming events.

Peanut Butter Jelly Time is back for the Girl Talk Marlton peer mentoring group.

At several upcoming events, the group will be making sandwiches with snacks and decorating bags with inspirational notes for the Unforgotten Haven to distribute to schools in the area.

Girl Talk Marlton is looking for volunteers to make the sandwiches, volunteers to donate items or both.

This community event is open to all ages who can help.

Upcoming dates scheduled so far include Wednesdays Sept. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 22 and Dec. 20.

The events will take place The Marlton Elks Lodge, 426 Evesboro-Medford Road, in Marlton from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

Those interested can bring friends and family and spread the word.
