‘Jass Band’ bringing traditional early jazz Haddonfield

Reed master Dan Levinson leads his Roof Garden Jass Band in a celebration of the centenary of the first commercial jazz recordings by New Orleans’ Original Dixieland Jass Band in a Tri-State Jazz Society performance at Haddonfield United Methodist Church on Warwick Road on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m.

Comprised of a mix of seasoned and young musicians who strive to bring lively, authentic jazz to audiences across the continent and around the world, the quintet is dedicated to carrying on the tradition of early jazz.

Funding for this concert has been made possible by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/ Department of State through the Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Camden County College, the designated arts agency of Camden County.

Half-price admission of $10, payable at the door, is available for first-time attendees and members. General admission is $20. Full-time students with identification and children can attend for free.
