Last year 200-plus walkers, bikers and runners and more than 60 sponsors raised $25,000 for Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
The Deborah Hospital Foundation of Deborah Heart and Lung Center invites friends, kids, co-workers and more and come out for a fun-filled day on Saturday, Sept. 16 when the foundation kicks off its 7th Annual 5K Run, 1-mile Walk-a-Thon, and 40-mile Bike Ride to benefit Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
This year’s event has a new location with Lenape High School, 235 Hartford Road.
According to event officials, Lenape’s track offers views for the Walk-a-Thon and Run, as well as providing stable surfaces for strollers and wheelchairs.
The 40-mile Bike Ride will wind through Burlington County.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. at the football stadium and the event kicks off at 9 a.m., rain or shine.
Each year, officials say that each year the Deborah Hospital Foundation’s Bohlen Mt. Holly, Medford, and Home Chapters have hosted the walk the event has grown.
