The following is a list of dates Cherry Hill Public Schools will be closed or have an early dismissal day.
Public schools across Cherry Hill will re-open their doors for the first day of classes in the 2017–18 school year on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Classes will continue through Tuesday, June 19, the last scheduled day of classes.
There will be numerous early dismissal days and days off for students throughout the calendar. Below is a list of dates Cherry Hill school will either have early dismissal or will be closed.
· Sept. 5 — First day of school, early dismissal for elementary schools
· Sept. 21 and 22 — Schools closed
· Oct. 9 — Schools closed, teacher in-service
· Nov. 9 and 10 — Schools closed, NJEA Convention
· Nov. 22 — Early dismissal for all students
· Nov. 23 and 24 — Schools closed for Thanksgiving
· Dec. 23 through Jan. 1 — Schools closed for winter break
· Jan. 15 — Schools closed, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
· Feb. 16 — Schools closed, teacher in-service
· Feb. 19 — Schools closed, President’s Day
· March 16 — Schools closed, teacher in-service
· March 30 through April 8 — Schools closed for spring break
· May 28 — Schools closed, Memorial Day
· June 19 — Last day of school
In the event of school being closed due to inclement weather, make up days will be scheduled in the following order: Feb. 16, Feb. 19, March 16 and June 20.
