The fundraiser seeks $5,000 to outfit the rooms at the BCAS with toys, furniture and activities to keep shelter cats happy and healthy.
As part of its renovation, the Burlington County Animal Shelter will have three new community cat rooms for the shelter cats to lounge and socialize in.
As such, The Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter and the Burlington County Animal Shelter are conducting their first-ever joint fundraiser to raise $5,000 to outfit the rooms with kitty toys, furniture and activities to keep the shelter cats stimulated, happy and healthy.
The fundraiser is entitled the Power of Purrfect Pawsitivity.
Officials hope the cat rooms can be colorful and cozy, with places for the cats to exercise and places for potential adopters to interact with the cats.
