Marie Fleche Memorial Library offering 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program
The Marie Fleche Memorial Library is instilling a love of reading in its littlest library goers with the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.
The family reading program geared toward babies, toddlers and preschoolers encourages participants to read 1,000 books with their child before they enter kindergarten. Reading books together each day is not only a way to spend quality time together, but it also helps establish the building blocks of learning.
Those interested can sign up and receive an introductory packet for the program at the library, located at 49 S. White Horse Pike, Berlin.
