The Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey is presenting its “All About Abstract Art” exhibit from Sept. 4 through Sept. 25
This multi-media exhibit will showcase the artists’ ideas of abstract art.
According to the center, abstract art can be a painting or sculpture that doesn’t depict a person, place or thing in the natural world. With abstract art, the center says the subject of the work is based on what one sees in color, shapes, brushstrokes, size, scale and, in some cases, the process.
The historic house that the Center for the Arts calls home is located on the grounds of the Indian Spring Golf Course at 123 South Elmwood Road in Marlton.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday evenings, 7 to 9 p.m.
This exhibit is free and open to the public.
A free reception for the exhibit also open to the public will also be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m.
