Woodcrest defeated Old Orchard Red in the best-of-three finals on Saturday in the league’s year-end tournament.
Woodcrest Swim Club’s volleyball team is the 2017 champion of the Cherry Hill Association of Pools Volleyball League.
The CHAP Volleyball League completes its season on Saturday with the annual league champion. Woodcrest, the №3 seed in the tournament, upset №1 seed Old Orchard Red in the best of three finals to win the championship. Woodcrest won 25–22, 22–25, 25–12 in the final match.
In the semifinals, Woodcrest swept past №2 seed Willowdale 27–26, 25–21. Old Orchard Red beat №4 seed Cherry Valley B 21–25, 25–17, 25–7.
Also participating in Saturday’s tournament were Cherry Valley A, Fox Hollow and Charleston. The seven teams participating in the year-end tournament all finished with winning records during the CHAP regular season.
